1. Develop and Implement Quality Control Processes: Design and establish quality control procedures and standards to ensure that all products meet company specifications and regulatory requirements. Continuously update and refine these processes to improve quality.
2. Monitor and Inspect Production: Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards ISO 13485. Identify any deviations or issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
3. Manage Quality Assurance Team: Lead and manage the quality control team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they effectively carry out their responsibilities. Conduct performance evaluations and foster a culture of quality excellence.
4. Analyse Quality Data: Collect and analyse quality metrics and data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare and present detailed reports to senior management on quality performance and improvement initiatives.
5. Ensure Compliance with Regulations: Stay updated on relevant local and international quality standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 13485 & 9001) Ensure that manufacturing practices comply with these regulations and prepare for audits and inspections.
Jobs Requirements:
1. Educational Background: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in quality management, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field. Professional certifications in quality control (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 13485, 9001) are highly desirable.
2. Experience in Quality Control: Proven experience in a quality control or quality assurance role within a manufacturing setting. Experience in managing quality control processes and teams in small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) is advantageous.
3. Knowledge of Quality Standards: Strong understanding of quality management systems, standards, and methodologies. Familiarity with relevant regulations and certifications specific to the manufacturing industry is essential.
4. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical skills to interpret quality data, identify root causes of defects, and implement effective solutions. Proficiency in using quality analysis tools and software.
5. Communication and Leadership Skills: Strong communication skills to effectively convey quality issues, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and present findings to senior management. Proven leadership abilities to manage a quality control team and drive continuous improvement.
