A local semiconductor testing provider is on the lookout for a proactive Procurement Executive to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will support project delivery by managing the end-to-end procurement process - from sourcing and evaluating suppliers to ensuring timely delivery of quality fabrication parts, materials, and services. Responsibilities:
Able to interpret mechanical drawing, have fabrication sourcing experience is the plus.
Reads tender documents and conduct sourcing according to the project agreed specifications and requirements.
Preparation of bid analysis, purchase orders and tracking of the fabrication parts, materials and services procured.
Co-ordinate between suppliers and internal departments/project teams to ensure specifications are met and in compliance with company/ client requirements.
Responsible for the performance of vendors, procurement planning, product quality and timely delivery.
Analyze and recommend alternative procurement routes and vendors.
Provide data for relevant decision making at top management level.
Provide technical expertise in the development and improvement of products, process & materials specifications with suppliers.
Identify and develop new parts supplier to improve supply chain network
Execute purchasing activities.
Support in Company winning projects by securing the most competitive offers from the suppliers.
Requirements:
Diploma/ Degree in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Min 3 years’ experience in similar capacity.
Good knowledge of Supply Chain & Inventory Management.
Experience in Oracle systems and fabrication sourcing will be an added advantage.
Able to interpret basic mechanical drawing preferred.
Familiar with Microsoft Excel and Words for project management.
Strong sourcing and analysis skills.
Able to manage suppliers to maintain good relationships.
Multitask in high pressure and fast-paced environment.
