Job Description

Oversees supervising the Quality process and Quality Management Systems to make sure that all products meet customers, stakeholders and regulatory requirements. Their duties include developing and implementing quality control processes, ensuring products are inspected at various stages and writing reports documenting production issues.

Responsibilities

• Key resource support GM for Integrated Quality Implementation at Singapore facility

• Lead and perform internal audits on products and procedures and take corrective action as needed

• Review and approve project documentation

• Full ownership of customer change management processes and qualification activity related to expanding operations in Singapore

• Approve product acceptance testing, development and implementation of quality plans, and other administrative technical matters

• Establish and maintain quality standards, procedures and controls

• Develop, implement and maintain the activities of quality control systems

• Oversee development and implementation of standards, methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy and reliability of company products

• Make recommendations for corrective action necessary to ensure conformity with quality specifications

• Select, develop and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function

• Participate in the Continuous Improvement programs within the company to reduce waste, reduce cost, reduce errors and improve productivity.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering

• At least 10 years of Quality / Engineering experience with 5 years in a Management role

• Experience with metrology and inspection techniques and able to read and understand detailed engineering drawings

• Experience in high mix low volume manufacturing processes in machining, casting, precision metal stamping and fabrication

• Excellent communication and writing skills

• Experience in SAP system operations for quality management

• Familiar and experienced in 8D problem solving methodology

• Must be willing to learn and adapt to fast pace working environment

• Keen eye for problem solving with analytical and systematic approach
