Responsibilities
Develop production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and capacity.
Coordinate materials procurement to ensure raw materials are available when needed.
Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and adjust plans to meet deadlines.
Optimize resource utilization (labor, machinery, materials).
Update stakeholders on delays or changes in production plans.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
Work with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) to manage planning.
Assist in analyzing the sales plan to determine and plan future production.
Collaborate with cross-functional departments to coordinate and monitor production output performance, ensuring alignment with delivery and quality requirements.
Evaluating raw materials and equipment to ensure everything is in place for production.
Assists in expediting and prioritizing work orders.
Handling production disruptions and productivity problems.
Participate in monthly cycle counts to verify and maintain accurate stock levels.
Coordinate and monitor delivery of both inbound and outbound shipments.
Execute administrative tasks related to planning and support ad hoc tasks.
Assist in facilitating the digitalization transition for the planning team.
Requirements
Minimum Diploma in Manufacturing / Logistics / Supply Chain or its equivalent
Meticulous and have an eye for details
Able to work under tight timelines in a fast-paced environment
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and guidance
Able to perform overtime when necessary
