Job Responsibilities
Market Research & Analysis
Identifying Market Trends: Researching and analyzing market trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategic decisions.
Target Market Identification: Identifying potential markets and customer segments to target based on data-driven insights (Case studies, success stories, 5x5, etc).
Competitor Analysis: Monitoring and evaluating competitor activities and developing strategies to maintain a competitive advantage.
Lead Generation & Prospecting
New Business Opportunities: Identifying and generating new qualified leads and opportunities for the company.
Cold Calling: Engaging in cold calling to make in-person meeting appointments
Lead Qualification: Qualifying leads based on set criteria to ensure they meet the company’s ideal customer profile.
Sales Strategy & Proposal Development
Sales Strategy Development: Collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for approaching and converting new clients.
Proposal & Pitch Creation: Developing tailored proposals, presentations, and pitches that address client needs and demonstrate value propositions.
Sales Pipeline Management: Managing and tracking the sales pipeline from lead generation to closing deals.
Event Participation & Brand Representation
Industry Events: Attending trade shows, conferences, and networking events to represent the company and create opportunities for business development.
Brand Advocacy: Promoting and advocating the company’s brand, products, and services in various industry settings.
Webinar: responsible for coordinating and managing all logistical, technical, and administrative aspects of webinars, ensuring smooth execution from pre-event preparation to post-event follow-up.
Requirements
Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent.
2-4 years of experience in market research, data analysis, or related business development role.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cold calling and engaging prospects effectively
Independent and result oriented with great team spirit
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Customer Relationship Management software tools eg. salesforce
Overseas travelling is required occasionally.
